He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Kimberlin of Clifton Forge; his siblings, Carolyn Bowyer of Bedford and Clifford McCulley of Eagle Rock; his brother-in-law Fred Tuck of Bedford; his granddaughter Jessica Hammer (Daniel) of Clifton Forge; his niece Tammy Slusher; and his cousin Vickie Hull Gilliland.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Bedford County Humane Society or to the American Heart Association.
