It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Edgar Higgins Jr. (Clifton Forge, Virginia), born in Covington, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Lewis E. Higgins, Sr.; his daughter Sheila Dawn Higgins; his brother Odie "Sonny" Higgins; and his niece Chanda Higgins. He is survived by : his wife Mary Catherine Angle Higgins of Clifton Forge; his children, Beverly McClung (Bobby Joe), Melenie Riley (Scherrile) and Ruben Higgins (Lisa); his siblings, Nellie Bess, Faye Nicely, Kathy Moore (Ham Agner) and Harold Wayne Higgins (Pam) of Covington; his sister-in-law Brenda Higgins; his grandchildren, Chuckie Hall (Kailey Thompson), Jennifer Riley (Shane Kincaid), Megan Sizemore (Richard Hanna), Faith Weirich and Hope McClung; his great grandchildren, Jackson Hoke, Owen Weirich, Tyler Kincaid, Myron Hall and Cyrus Hall; and his close friend Lucky.
