He was predeceased by : his parents, Jasper Monroe McCulley, Sr. and Clara Belle Windsor McCulley; his wife Esolde "Sam" Downey McCulley; and his sisters, Nancy McCulley Nicely and Becky Ramsey.

He is survived by : his daughters, Constance McCulley of Covington, Lindsay Aldridge of Covington and Lelah Adkins (Jared Caldwell) of Clifton Forge; his siblings, Karen Bowles, Clara Jean McCulley, Jasper Monroe McCulley, Jr., Edward Alexander McCulley and Danny Lee McCulley; and his grandchildren, Levi Adkins, Kyrie Aldridge and Aaron Michael McCulley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special companions.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Salvation Army Food Pantry, 149 N. Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426.
