He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Wilson Patterson Sr. and Lillian Larman Patterson; his son Joshua Andrew Patterson; and his sisters, Ona Persinger, Dorothy Southers, Jean Johnson and Patsy Fleckenstein.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Dudley Patterson of Covington; his daughter Amanda Burns (Randall) of Covington; and his grandchildren, Lillian Ava Burns and William Andrew Burns. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Curtis A. Smith VFW Post 1033.
