She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston McKinley "Hi" Hall, Sr. and Edith Virginia Liptrap Hall; her husband Robert Kenneth "Pee Wee" Higgins, Sr.; her siblings, John Hall, Preston "Bum" Hall and Ruth "Punk" Peters; her sisters-in-law, Martha Hall and Mary Jane "Slug" Hall; and her son-in-law David Deaton.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Ann Higgins Deaton of Clifton Forge and Robert Kenneth "Kenny" Higgins, Jr. (Sandy) of Clifton Forge; her brother-in-law Jim Peters of Millboro; her grandchildren, Heather Perlozzo (Nick), Brooke O'Byrne (Stephen), Ashley Byrd (Brian) and Kenzie Brendle (Harrison); and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Rocky, Grace, Myles, Stella and Piper. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
