He is survived by: his wife Nancy Loretta Reid Faidley of Iron Gate; his pet Bella; his children, Dawn Renay Wright (Alan) of Eagle Rock, Andrea Brown (Dale) of Clifton Forge, Angelia Deisher Travis of Clifton Forge, Kelly Jean Reynolds (Aaron) of Morris Hill and Raymond Preston Faidley, Jr. of Iron Gate; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, John, Anne, Jeanie, Angel and Donnie Carroll.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Iron Gate Fire and Rescue, 300 Third Street, Iron Gate, VA 24448, or to the American Cancer Society.
