He is survived by: his wife Barbara JoAnn Brown Heighter of Clifton Forge; his niece Natasha Jackson (Bishop) of Covington; his great-nieces, Averiana Stewart and Zoe Berryman; his nieces, Sue Carroll and Beneatha Heighter; his close friends, Debbie Peters and Sederia Butler; Iyla Berryman. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
