In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Rebecca leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Rebecca may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Elmer Pedigo and Lucille Catherine Clark Pedigo; and her son Nathan Alan Stancil. She is survived by: her son Chad Stancil of Covington; her brothers, Robert Pedigo (Sam) of Bostic, NC and Richard Pedigo of Covington; and her pet Gretchen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nicely Funeral Home (405 Alleghany St, Clifton Forge, VA 24422). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Recover Virginia, 103 Mountaineer Drive, Covington, Virginia 24426 or to First Christian Church, 231 E Fudge St, Covington, VA 24426.
