He was predeceased by: his father William Carlyle; his son Richard Paul Jordan, Jr.; his siblings, Wallace Jordan, Carl Jordan, Dot Hoseapple, Helen Neas and Mary Gray; and his son-in-law Cory Hayslett.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou Nicely Jordan; his children, Vicki Jordan Hayslett and Michael Allen Jordan of Clifton Forge; his daughter-in-law Dawn Jordan Wright; his sisters, Ruth Smith of Covington and Betty Bauman of Covington; his grandchildren, Richard "Bo" Jordan III (Dawn), Shanda Bocook (Jason), Courtney Hicks (Casey), Kayla Humphries (Jon), Jordan Givens (Jake), Hannah Jordan and Ria Jordan (Jesse); and his great grandchildren, Lillith Jordan, Bryce Hicks, Ella Bocook, Cam Hicks, Jon Tenor Humphries and Rikki Dawn Murray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Victory Baptist Church, P.O. Box 2, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
