He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Arthur Dowd, Sr. and Beulah Lee Nicely Dowd; and his niece Erica Lynne Bartsch. He is survived by : his siblings, Lynda Bartsch (Eric "Rick") of Chester and Edward "Buddy" A. Dowd, Jr. (Leah) of Hamstead, NC; his niece Heather Miller; his nephew Jonathan Dowd (Suzanna); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaitlyn Miller, Jacob Miller, David Miller, Bodhi Dowd and Marly Dowd.
