It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sadie Johnson of Clifton Forge, Virginia, born in Lexington, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Daniel McCormick and Edith Catherine McDaniel McCormick; her husband Houston Lynn Johnson, Sr.; her son Houston Lynn "Sonny" Johnson, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Torey Lynn Hall and Nathan Dickerson.
She is survived by : her sisters, Catherine Dudley of Clifton Forge and Jean McCormick of Mineral; and her children, Jenny Chandler (David) of Staunton, Linda Johnson of Stuarts Draft, Bobbie Dickerson (Dick) of Cadiz, Cindy Johnson of Clifton Forge and Ronnie Rudy (Susie) of Sebastian, FL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
