In loving memory of Sandra Lynn Dunaway of Clifton Forge, Virginia, who departed this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 73. Sandra leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mothers, Muriel "Bud" Fridley and Doris Fridley; her husband Marvin Dunaway; her aunts, Emma Humphries (Omer), Roxie Miotke (Thomas), Margaret Gazvoda (Joseph) and Lois Terry (Clyde); her uncle Linwood Rudy Montgomery (Gladys); and her pet Maxx Lombardo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Holly Dunaway Stayton (David) and Danielle Dunaway Lombardo (Francesco); her granddaughter Taylor Stayton; her pet Marley Bell Stayton; her sister Betty O'Conner; her children, Eric Huddleston, Lorrie Huddleston and Shawn O'Conner; her cousin Phyllis Long (Louie); her close friends, Tiffany Sanders and Dr. Ambra Nida; and also, Lisa Amos and Kevin Long.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in memory of Haley Nida, 2224 S. Jefferson St. Roanoke, VA 24014.
