Selma Lee Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2025, at the age of 78, Selma Lee (Clifton Forge, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Selma departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Selma may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Selma leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harper Shaffier, Sr. and Hazel Almira Lowry Shaffier; and her siblings, John H. Shaffier, Jr. and Charlotte Waugh. She is survived by: her siblings, Peggy Carpenter (Donald) and James "Jimmy" Shaffier (Joyce) of Hot Springs. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Bath Animal Welfare Foundation, 9295 Sam Snead Highway, Hot Springs, VA 24445.
