She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Jackson and Ester Winston Jackson of Covington; her husband James E. Brown, Jr.; her son James E. Brown, III; her siblings, Ann Jackson Jones, James E. Jackson, William and Emiline Jackson; and her siblings-in-law, Grace Thompson, Mary Holloman, Lillian Graves, Annie Belle Yancey, Clara Anderson and Robert Brown.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Janice L. Brown; her daughter Janice L. Brown; her brother Joseph L. Jackson (Jean); her friends, Gail Brown, Stacey Johnson, Natalie, Davis Murphy, Rodney Brown, Patricia Davis Ross, Peggy Scott and Peggy Hamm; her family, Peaches Goode (family: Diana Twitty, Danny Christian) and Beverly Pendleton; and her caregivers, Amie Putnam, Donna Hughes and Linda Ball. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
