We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2024, at the age of 89, Wesley Lomax McClung (Clifton Forge, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Squire Estle McClung and Marie Wilhelm McClung; his wife Patricia Ann Simpson McClung; his sons, Mitchel Todd McClung and Brian Wesley "Snail" McClung; and his siblings, Earl McClung, Ernest McClung, Carl McClung, Richard McClung, Virginia Thomas, Christine Lee, Catherine Scott and Audine Dillon.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kimberly Shifflett (Jerry) of Elkton and Jeanne Persinger (Larry) of Rockwell, NC; his sisters, Armeda Reiley (Glenn), Joyce Shell and Eunice Kern; and his grandchildren, Megan, Katie, Christin, Adam and Jamie. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Intrepid Hospice, 427 Lee Jackson Highway, Staunton, VA 24401.
