It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sue Compson of Clifton, Virginia, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Tony Dale, Billy Junior and Timothy Scott; and her sons-in-law, Barry Johnson and Randy Lewis.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Compson; her children, Terry, Tabitha Hawkins, Sherry-Sue Lewis and Mark Compson; her grandchildren, Justin, Kayla Bailey, Tierra Hawkins, Alisha and Sandi Compson; her great grandchildren, Emersyn, Oaklynn, Jasmine, Dechlan, Kayden and Hunter; and her siblings, Nancy King, Phyllis Painter, Dreama Truman, Judy Samples and Sonny Hess. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
