She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Bristow DeBenedictis and Edward Newman; her husband Clifton William "Bill" Walker Sr.; her sister Patricia King; her niece Jody King; her nephew Corey Achstein; and her partner Thom Mixon.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Shannon; her granddaughters, Emily Foster and Allison Shannon; her stepson William Walker; her siblings, Lynne Cooke (John), Laura Jackson, Lou Ellen Bass (Brian) and Timothy DeBenedictis; Max and Baby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
