It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Lane (Clintwood, Virginia), born in Grundy, Virginia, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lane and Hazel Lane; his stepmother Katherine Lane; his siblings, Hubert, Marshall Lane and Judy Belle Lane; his nephew John Cale Golden; and his niece Anthena Michelle Lane.

He is survived by : his brother Johnny Lane (Kimberly) of Grundy, VA.; his aunt Mary Kirkpatrick of Grundy, VA.; his nephew Kelley Golden (Laura) of Kingsport, TN.; his nieces, Kimberley Lane of Greensboro, NC., Rebecca Lyes (John) of Rockwall, TX. and Alexandria Lane (Brent Reid); and his cousin Jim Lane of Clintwood, VA..
