She is survived by: her son Robert Fernandez (Kayla Forney); and her grandson Brayden Fernandez.
A funeral Mass was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel (202 McClure Ave, Clintwood, VA 24228). An entombment was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens (5650 Powell Valley Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219).
