She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carrington Gaines Sutherland and Jessie Kelly Sutherland; her brother Jess Carrington Sutherland; her husband Lester Phipps; her brother Kelly Dyer Sutherland; her sons, Daniel Phipps (Vicki) and Clark Phipps (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Bryan Phipps, Sean Phipps, Lori Beth Messer and Cody Phipps. She was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren.
