He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Frazier and Jannie Lewis; his wives, Nancy Pittman Lewis and Barbara Booker Lewis; and his grandfather Ronnie.
He is survived by: his uncle J. C. Lewis, III; his sister Eloise Rainier; his children, James (Margaret), Perry (Jonnie), Ronnie (Maggie) and Donnie (Sara); and his uncle Bobby. He is also survived by four sons and a daughter.
