He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Callis and Nellie J. Callis; his former wife Nancy C. Callis; his sister Barbara Kemp (Donald); his children, Stewart Crittenden and Becky Jones; and his grandson Matthew Crittenden.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce D. Callis; his sons, Robert F. Callis (Tracy), Charlie Crittenden (Sandra) and David Crittenden; and his grandchildren, William R. Callis (Shayna), Geoffrey W. Callis, Daniel Jones (Emily), Aaron Jones (Chelsea), Keely Bailey (Davis), Caroline Crittenden and Morgan Locey (Trevor). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
