She was predeceased by: her husband Claude H. Bright (Pistol); her parents, James Harlan (Hoover) and Eliza L. Porter Edwards; and her siblings, Margaret Edwards Couch, Kathleen Edwards Couch, Connie Edwards Counts and James Frank Edwards.
She is survived by: her son Joe Bright; her grandson Joseph Scott Bright II (McKenzie); her great grandchild Wren Bright; and her sister Esther Edwards Gibson.
