It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Detmer G Evans (Coeburn, Virginia), born in Norton, Virginia, who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Evans and Eliza McCoy Evans; and his brother Lloyd Evans, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Evans; his children, Elizabeth Evans of Abingdon, Virginia and Anthony Ward of Nora, Virginia; and his siblings, Karen Collins (Bill) of Coeburn, Virginia, Harry Evans (Rosalee) of Coeburn and David Evans (Pam) of Coeburn, Virginia. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
