He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stout and Nannie Stout; his wife Tilda Foster; his siblings, Roy, Charlie, Willie, Garland Stout and Geraldine Stout Fritz; his daughter Carolyn Sue Stout Keith; and his granddaughters, Cynthia and Stephanie.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Stout (Donna) of Wise, VA, Kim Campbell (Rodney) of Denton, NC and Sharon Maggard (Jason Absher) of Coeburn, VA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
