He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Edgar Palmer and Anne Lee Palmer; his former wife Dianna Jean Palmer; his brother Frank Palmer; and his brother-in-law Rex Brown.
He is survived by: his friends, Junior Boyd, Scott Compton, Joey Miller and Kenneth Miller; his wife Margaret Luther Palmer; his son Jeremy Palmer; his sisters, Charlotte Poff (Charles) and Glenda "Judy" Brown; his nieces, Mary Williams (Jeff), Susie Ring and Marie Collins (Scott); and his nephew Tim Brown. He is also survived by his family, friends, church family, former coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Estes Funeral Home (114 High Ave NE, Coeburn, VA 24230). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A procession will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
