She was predeceased by: her grandmother Connell Jones; her husband Jack Sluss; her parent Edgar; her children, Jackie Sluss and Lisa Sluss; and her sister Myrtle Cowden.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Mills (Danny) of Coeburn, Janet Stafford (Tim) of Greenville, Tennessee and Scotty Sluss (Erika Fleming) of Coeburn, Virginia.; and her grandchildren, Jackie Jr., Melanie, Eric, Lyndsay, Drew, Zac and Ranger.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Acres (436 Centre Ave NE, Coeburn, VA 24230).
