He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifford Holbrook and Noralee Holbrook. He is survived by : his wife Rose Mary Holbrook; his children, Zac Holbrook (Veda) and Heather Short (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Judah Short, Cadence Fletcher and Sophia Fletcher; his sister Deborah Cantrell (Bill); his nieces, Lisa and Christy Hughes; his cousin Eddie Holbrook; and his close friends, Bill Hunsaker and Mike Potter. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be made to the Lays Hardware Center for the Arts at P. O. Box 2766.
