She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie McElyea; her parents, Gilford Mullins and Lottie Mullins; her son Kevin Taylor; her siblings, Shirley Mullins, Jenny Rush and Terry Mullins; her niece Stephanie Mullins; and her nephew Jonah McElyea.
She is survived by: her sister Judy Mullins; her daughters, Missy Moore (Buck) and Tonya Kilgore (Vincent); her grandchildren, Andrew McClellan (Liz), Jonathan Slone (Desa Righter), Ariel Slone (Larry Meadows), Molly Harvey (AJ) and Emily McClellan; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Aliyah Phillips, Addi and Conner Harvey; Jessica Pace (Jared). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sturgill Funeral Home (310 6th St NW, Coeburn, VA 24230). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM.
