He is survived by: his children, Valerie Maldonado (Leonardo) and Nathan Dameron; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Marie Mejia Dameron and Leonardo Maldonado II; and his siblings, Rick Dameron (Geri), Darrell Dameron (Rita), Ronald Dameron (Delilah), Mark Dameron (Laura), Carolyn Welch and Freda Apodaca (Jesse). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel (19816 Coal Heritage Rd, Welch, WV 24801).
