He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rudolph Sr. and Frances Marie Shoemaker Branner; his daughter-in-law Sheila Branner; and his granddaughter Raven Morgan. He is survived by: his children, Kent Branner of Timberville, Jay Branner (Dana) of Rockingham, Tonya Crider (Josh) of Criders, Willie Hottinger (Chris) of Bergton, Sheila Showalter (Allen) of Bridgewater and Julie Miller (Andrew) of Weyers Cave; and his cousin Patricia. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
