Margaret Jeannette Self Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Jeannette Self of Coles Point, Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Kilmon and Safronia King Kilmon; her husband Pete; her daughter Mary Anne Self; and her siblings, Carroll Kilmon, Leonard Kilmon, Martha Boyce, Emmett Kilmon and Clifton Kilmon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Self Hayden (James Albert) and Sharon Kay Bristow (Richard); her grandchildren, Jason "Bucky" Hayden (Janis), Stephanie Hathaway (Chris), Cole Bristow and Kayleigh Bristow; her great grandchildren, Grace Hayden and Declan Hathaway; and her siblings-in-law, Daniel Self and Doretha Minor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Margaret's loving memory to Coles Point U.M.C., P.O. Box 114, Hague, VA 22469.
