He was predeceased by : his son Gilbert Quigley Jr.; his parents, Horace Quigley and Annliza Quigley; his niece Tammy Potter; and his nephew Junior Potter.

He is survived by : his children, Richard Griffith (Mary), Sherry Lumbard (Matt) and Tiffanie Respress (Dennis); his grandsons, Steve Fowler (Pam), Kevin Fowler, Brandon Griffith (Michaela) and Chad Revels; his great grandchildren, Zachary Fowler, Matthew Fowler, Isabella Griffith, Kai Griffith, Malorie Revels and Skylar Revels; his sister Pat Potter; his daughter-in-law Revonda Quigley; and his pet Blossom.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the King George (11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485).
