He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wellington and Gladys Luck; his son James Paul Luck II; and his sisters, Zelma, Geraldine, Emily, Betty Ann and Josephine.
He is survived by: his wife Merle Reynolds of Fincastle; his sons, Richard (Christa) and Hugh Alan; and his siblings, Nancy Trout and Bobby.
