He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Prickett and Emily Parks; and his wife Ruby M. Parks. He is survived by: his son John K. Parks, Jr. (Deborah Parks); his stepdaughters, Marge Barnes and Kathy Arland; his son-in-law Foster Phillips; and his granddaughters, Toni Gandy, Megan Vincent and Patricia Latona. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
