She was predeceased by: her parents, John Olin Hitchcock, Sr. and Alethia Beatrice Barnes; her husband George L. Dobson, Jr.; and her siblings, John O. Hitchcock, Jr. (John, Jr.), Addie Kathleen McCullough (Sis) and Durwood Thorpe Hitchcock (Chunk).
She is survived by: her children, James L. Dobson (Marye) and Janet Dobson Presnell (Steve); her grandchildren, Christopher S. Presnell (Kylie), Ashley Presnell Fisher (Jason), Austin E. Dobson, Aaron L. Dobson and Andre Carr (Rachel); and her great grandchildren, Greyson Waverly Fisher, Grady Larkin Fisher, Brooklynn Anne Presnell, Landon Christopher Presnell, Kinsley Marye Carr and Kamden Paul Carr. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
