He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Michelle Warren (Brian), Peggy Klucina (Mat), John Hendrick, Huck (Kaye), David Hendrick and Dootsie (Erica); his grandchildren, Emily Oliver (Jordan), Ben Warren, Nathan Hendrick (Caitlin), Hunter Hendrick (Cameron Hoffman), Parker Hendrick (Dare Burnett), Emma Hendrick, John Charles Klucina and Austin Bowen; his sister Lori Sandy; his brother-in-law Chris; his siblings' children, Jordan and Olivia; his brother Ralph (Bubba); his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Otey and Frances Whitmore; his uncle Herman Johnston; his cousin George Johnston (Junnie); and also Richard Johnston (Ann Marsee).
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
