He is survived by: his wife Sharon Koutnik; his sons, Dilwyn and Ethan Piner; his stepson Kevin Payne Melissa (Belinda); his grandchildren, James, Kendal Payne London (Raeann) and Nolan Suyes; his brother Chris Koutnik; his nephew Shawn Couture (Michelle); and his great-nephew Benji.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834).
