He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Leonard Goad and Clellie Ellington Goad; his siblings, Nadine West, Robert "Bobby" Goad, David Goad and Eva Goad; and his grandson Dustin Reason.

He is survived by: his sister Gayle Fleming; his children, Wayne Goad (Kim), David Goad, Tim Goad and Sian Teresa Goad; and his grandchildren, Nathan Goad (Breana), Avery Goad and Kristin Hilliard (Chase).

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834).
