He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. James Harris Sr. and Emma Gadsden Harris; and his grandson Treylind Jackson McDavid. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn; his children, Leah Harris Seupersad of Suwanee, GA, David James Harris and Felisa Grant McDavid of Charleston, S. C.; his brother Henry T. Harris (Helen); his grandchildren, Brielle and Beania Seupersad; and his uncles, Isaac and Henry Gadsden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
