She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Linwood Claytor Sr. and Minnie Belle Harmon Claytor; her husband James Crowder Pond; her granddaughter Tammi Senavitis; her great grandchild Jamison Senavitis; her siblings, Thomas Linwood Claytor Jr., Mary Claytor Furman (Horace), Myrtle C. Schwartz (Jack) and Lucille C. Aters (Charles); her nephew Horace S. "Chip" Furman; her niece Anita F. Clark; and her pet Etta Jane.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Pond Vineyard (Charles) and Dean Keith Pond (Catherine); her grandsons, James M. Williams III (Lois) and James Crowder Pond II (Lelie); her great grandchildren, Tyler M. Senavitis, Ryan M. Senavitis, James Crowder Pond III, Jalie Pond and Jed Williams; her nieces, Peggy F. Brennan, Mary Berch, Marty Jones and Jean Bell Mann; her nephew Charles "Chuck" Aters IV; her son-in-law Mark Senavitis; her aunt Mildred "Mickey" Sharpe; her adoptive daughters, Donna Freeman, Doreen Sloan, Judy Hudson (James) and Kay Bowles; and her son-in-law Charles Vineyard.
