He was predeceased by : his parents, William Edward Martin and Christine Brockwell Martin; and his sister Betty Hobbs. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Marek Martin; his son John E. Martin, Jr.; and his siblings, Brenda Kump, Gerald Martin (Janet) and Shari Zappulla (Chris). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
