She is survived by: her husband Henry William Simmons Jr.; her sister-in-law Betty Simmons Crostic; her niece Deborah Crostic Whittle-Smith (Brick); her great-nephew Joseph Scott Whittle (Jill); her great-niece Emily Whittle Frost (Jeremy); her cousins, Christian Fick and Katherine Smith; her godchildren, Brian and Melissa Suyes; Caroline Whittle, Meredith Frost, Landon Whittle and Campbell Frost.
