He was predeceased by : his parents, William Everett Pond Sr. and Phyllis Ann Pond of Colonial Heights. He is survived by : his grandson Franklin; his wife Toni Pond; his children, Marion Pond, Phyllis Ward (Ricky), Angie Irons (Robert) and Luigi Boccella; his grandchildren, Richard Franklin Ward IV, Lewis Ward, Dayna Irons, Daphane Garges, Jordan Boccella, Jessica Boccella, Amanda Boccella and Mariah Boccella; and his siblings, Michael Pond (Kathy), Julie Groat (Steve), Guy Pond and William Pond Jr. (Janice). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
