She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Joseph and Clara Estelle Moore; her husband Robert Edmond Mason; and her sisters, Shirley Moore Cole and Brenda Peyton Blaha.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Lynne Mason (Jo Ellen) of Durham, NC and Kimberly Gail Mason Wells (C. Todd) of Disputanta, VA; her grandchildren, Mason Lee Frazier (Kaylee Nicole) and Lauren Nicole Wells; her great grandchildren, Kynlee Ann Frazier and Kolson Lee Frazier; her siblings, Josie Landers, Jackie Peyton Graham, Edna Chilton and Wilbur Peyton III; and her friends, Willie Ragsdale and Carlene Mason. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
