He was predeceased by: his father Johnnie Mack Wellington; and his stepparents, Robert F. Pecht, Jr. and Ruby B. Wellington. He is survived by: his daughter Madison Wellington; his mother Daryl R. Pecht; and his siblings, Carla Wellington Jones (Dean), Eric Wellington, Allen Powell (Susie), Anne Vaughan (Warren) and Angie Powell Burroughs (Mike).
