She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Winfield Robinson and Thornton James Robinson; her children, Alvin Gregory Gholson, Barry Gholson and Sharon Singleton; her siblings, Carrie Whitaker and James Robinson; her brothers-in-law, Lonnie Whitaker and Hoover Whitaker; and her great grandchild Shamiah Hopkins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Alease Whitaker and Harvey Claiborne; her children, Jerome Gholson, Keith Boisseau (Miram), Aubrey Gholson (Lynette), Angela Gholson Miller, Pamela Eddie (Elliott) and Kenneth Hardy; her grandchildren, Michael Goodwyn, Gwendolyn Chandler, Tonya Gholson-White, Anishea Marks, Jerome Gholson Jr., Natarsha Batts, Amon Patterson, Jamal Gholson, Mesieha Burchette, Ashley Boisseau and Daniella Boisseau; and her great grandchildren, Eric White Jr., Tarawan White, Denise Chandler, Shanice Chandler, Shymeen Provost and Sir'Kingston Hudson. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
