He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Newsome and William Ellis Worrell, Sr.; and his brother Gerald "Pete" Worrell. He is survived by: his wife Clara Lou Worrell; his children, Linda Worrell Moore (Danny), Donna Louise Worrell, William Ellis Worrell III (Teresa L. Harrison) and Greg Scott Worrell (Annette); and his grandchildren, Jamie Collins, Steve Worrell (Michelle), Taylor Davis (Blake), Parker Worrell (Audri) and Logan Worrell (Laura). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other extended family.
