She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Covington and Lula Covington; and her former husband Charles Anthony Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Louis McKenny; her children, Donna Hazelwood (Larry), Michael Barnes (Mary Lynn), Delores Garnett (Bill), Stephen Barnes and Angela Fleming; her stepdaughter Kathrine Kidder; and her siblings, Leon Covington, Robert Covington and Edith Self. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
