She was predeceased by : her spouse Jesse Everette Evans; and her parents, Alice Thompson and Aurelius Burton Carson, Sr.. She is survived by : her son Mark Everette Evans (Helen) of Concord; and her grandchildren, Jessee D. Evans, Amber Evans (Franklin Metz, Jr.) and Shaina Evans (Terrence Younger). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
